Goose Hunting
The combination of large waterfowl refuges and huge expansions of grain fields, help solidify Northeastern Colorado as one of the major veins of the Central Flyway. Every year a phenomenal number of Canadian Geese and now these days huge numbers of wintering snow geese stage in our area. Our hunts are typically done out of pits, custom built wooden built river blinds or A frames surrounded by large spread of quality, full-body decoys. All our guides are veterans of the area and accomplished waterfowl callers. When you hunt with Beaus Outdoors, you can have the privilege of hunting in custom designed pits to maximize warmth, comfort and the ability to shoot birds in your face. We have added some incredible farms along the South Platte River zone. At the TGR farm we have 2 custom designed waterfowl impoundments. We have the Cobra Hole and Ceasars Palace pond. We can pump 1500 GPM of 50-degree ground water from the cased well into the 1.5 to 3.5-acre impoundments. Ceasars Palace is a custom-built pit that is made up of 2 40 ft containers buried in the ground right on a 1.5-acre custom augmented pond on 278-acre farm right off the SOUTH PLATTE RIVER. Ceasars Palace has 13 shooting holes, with office chairs to relax inn, 3 couches, a coffee bar, a full 36" Blackstone griddle, a full-sized stove and fridge. At the Crooked Slew farm, we have 3 custom 24-foot pits, on 3 different augmented ponds that put you right on the water making it 1 heck of a waterfowl experience.
